Containertech offers a large range of accessories to modify a container to suit your specific requirements.

By adding windows, internal walls, electricity, built-in cupboards and floor coverings a shipping container can be transformed into a workshop, custom-designed storage facility or display unit.

Accessories

Padbolts

Padbolts can be used at any point of entry to a container. Made of high quality, high strength steel Padbolts provide a level of security which is far superior to a normal padlock and will give you that extra  peace of mind when you lock your valuables into your container. 

Padbolts are priced at $45 + gst.

 

 

 

 

Lock Boxes

Lock Boxes are a device placed on the prominent container door. It reduces the risk of the padlock being tampered with or damaged. Lock Boxes also provide weather protection for the padlock.

Lock Boxes are priced at $85 + gst (fitted at our yard). If you require a lock box fitted at your premises then a travel charge will apply depending on the distance we have to cover.

 

 

 

Whirly Birds           

Whirly Birds are placed on the roof of a container to provide access for natural air flow.

This assists with internal temperature reduction.

It is highly recommended to use wall vents in conjunction with Whirly Birds to maximise airflow.

Whirly Birds are especially suitable for dangerous goods containers where a strong air exchange is required. 

Vents

Small vents or larger steel louvered vents can be located on any wall of a container. Vents reduce temperatures in hot containers, allow natural air flow ventilation and can disperse odours from interior products.

Doors

Roller doors can be installed to allow easy and quick access for both machinery and people.

Single-side and double-side doors are customised entry points located in any side wall of the container.

These door types create an additional entry/exit point and are lighter in weight than standard container doors.

 

Windows

The 800 x 1500mm half slider provides ventilation, natural lighting and a clear line of sight for many applications.

Windows can be fitted anywhere within a container wall.

Windows with a steel security shutter fitted with either gas struts (photo) or a "batwing"  style.

Security bars can be fitted if you do not require the complete security of a steel shutter.

 

 

Door Ramps

Fixed or removable door ramps can be located at any door opening.

Door ramps provide clear and easy access to a container for pedestrians, trolleys and wheel barrows.

Containertech door ramps are ideal for heavy volume entry and exiting of containers.

 

 

Shelving

Fixed shelving can be designed and constructed to suit any internal storage requirement.

Ideal for archive boxes, drums, tools and supplies.

Removable shelving can be placed into any container to suit internal storage requirements.

Whether you require an office solution (photo) or a plain shelving / storage solution, Containertech can customise your container to your specification.

 

Painting & Sign Writing

Painting a container will enhance its appearance and prolong the life span of the unit. Prior to painting, Containertech will grind back any surface rust and repair any damage before priming the unit.

Sign writing can be carried out on any or all sides of a container, in any colour, shape or size.

Sign writing your company name, logo or slogan provides an excellent promotional opportunity by making your container a moving billboard for your brand.

 

 

Air conditioning

A range of air conditioners can be installed. Air conditioners in retractable frames make transportation easy.

Lighting and Power

Additional lighting provides the option of working in conditions without natural light. Internal power enables the use of tools and electrical appliances.
